Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children and implement individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will apply evidence-based techniques to develop communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

The role emphasizes patience, compassion, and teamwork, with comprehensive training provided. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and complete onboarding for RBT certification.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and team oriented.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.
• Background check clearance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans.
• Provide instruction under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Monitor and reduce interfering behaviors to support progress.
