Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Registered Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior plans under a BCBA, teaching communication, social and daily living skills with evidence-based techniques.

The role requires patience, teamwork, and a willingness to obtain an RBT certification after onboarding. Training is provided; lifting up to 50 pounds is required. Pay ranges from $18 to $25 per hour, with inclusive benefits.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test (if not done in last year)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must obtain RBT certification after onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans.
• Assist BCBA under supervision to implement interventions.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress.
• Ensure safety and proper documentation of child progress.
