Job summary

Centria Autism Services is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to help children with autism. You will work one-on-one with clients, implementing individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.

The role involves teaching communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques while reducing challenging behaviors. Training is provided, and you will have opportunities to advance toward RBT certification.

Qualifications

• Passionate, patient and team-oriented candidate required.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid and TB tests as applicable.
• Pre-employment background check required.
• Onboarding includes RBT certification guidance.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and promote positive outcomes.
• Be able to stand, walk, sit, lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Participate in daily training and team collaboration.
