Job summary

Centria Autism in Texas is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training, supportive team environment, and opportunities to grow within the field of Behavioral Analysis. Pay ranges from $18 to $25 per hour with benefits and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and team oriented.
• 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and a TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors under BCBA guidance.
• Collaborate with a supportive team in a childcare setting.
