Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while supporting families and collaborating with a dedicated team. Pay range is $17-$20 per hour, and comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to monitor progress and adjust plans.
• Contribute to a supportive, safe environment for children and families.
