Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; no prior experience required. Pay ranges from $18 to $25 per hour, and you will stay active as clients move, with potential for growth

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.
• Pass a pre-employment background check.
• Able to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children using individualized intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors using evidence-based techniques.
• Move and position children safely during activities.
• Participate in ongoing training and teamwork.
