Job summary

Centria Autism in the United States is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience is required as training will be provided. Candidates should be patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Work in a team environment and participate in training.
