Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking passionate Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be patient, compassionate and team-oriented.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable standing, walking, sitting, and moving.
• Willingness to work with children with autism under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support developmental progress.
• Participate in training and collaborate with teammates.
• Assist and support children in safe movement and activities.
