Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in a one-on-one setting under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans and use evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required; comprehensive training is provided to help each child reach their potential. This role involves standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a pay range of $19–$25 per hour

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid Certification required.
• TB test within the last year.
• Pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification within 45 days of onboarding.
• BACB certification required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
