Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under the guidance of a BCBA, applying evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Training is provided to help you grow in a supportive team. The role requires standing and lifting up to 50 pounds, with pay from $17 to $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Empathy and patience to work with children with autism.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Help teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Be physically capable of standing, lifting up to 50 pounds.
