Job summary

Centria-Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.

Extensive training is provided to equip you for the role. The job involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed. Competitive pay ranges from $19 to $24 per hour, with a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test (if not done in last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans.
• Assist in teaching communication, social and daily living skills under BCBA supervision.
• Participate in training and apply evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
