Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavioral Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA. You’ll use evidence-based techniques to build communication, social and life skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Training is provided; no previous experience required. You must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds as part of daily duties. The role offers starting pay of $20–$26 per hour in Maryland.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Comply with on-site training and supervision by a BCBA.
• Willingness to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress with supervisors.
