Job summary

Centria Autism in the United States is seeking enthusiastic Behavioral Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA. You will teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based methods, with training provided.

The role requires patience, teamwork, and physical stamina to assist children up to 50 pounds. Pay ranges from $18 to $24 per hour, with opportunities for growth in a structured career

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress
