Job summary

Okta is seeking an energetic Associate Solutions Engineer (P2) to support Commercial accounts. You will collaborate with Account Executives and senior SEs to guide mid‑market customers through technical evaluations of the Auth0 platform, delivering demos and proofs‑of‑concept to show value and secure adoption.

Ideal candidates have hands-on coding experience, strong API literacy, and passion for solving security and identity challenges in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a customer-facing technical role or equivalent software engineering experience.
• Hands-on programming in modern languages (JS/TS, Python, Java, Go, or C#).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP, JSON; familiarity with Postman or cURL.
• Foundational knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, SSO, MFA.

Responsibilities

• Guide commercial customers through technical evaluation of the Auth0 platform.
• Build sample apps and prototypes using SDKs, APIs, and Auth0 Actions.
• Respond to security questionnaires, RFIs, and architectural inquiries.
• Walk engineers and product leads through API docs, token handling, and best practices.
• Navigate high-velocity deals by diagnosing objections and showcasing value.
• Stay current with identity protocols and cloud security trends.
