Build-A-Bear Workshop in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Manager at Valley Plaza Mall to support the store manager and drive Guest service, staff leadership, and sales execution.

You will lead daily tasks, coordinate shifts, train and coach Bear Builders, uphold brand standards, manage inventory, and ensure a safe, welcoming shop environment while aiming to meet store objectives and guest satisfaction.

Formación

• 2 years of store management experience, with a proven, successful history in a customer-centric business, preferably in specialty retail
• High school diploma
• Basic understanding in the use of common store technology solutions (POS, scheduling, HRIS, time and attendance)

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Chief Workshop Manager in directing daily assignments and schedules.
• Support hiring decisions and staff development.
• Lead shifts, enforce policies, and manage security and cash handling.
• Drive sales through Guest experience and merchandising integrity.
• Oversee inventory receiving, stocking, and counts.
• Develop a high-performing team delivering exceptional Guest experiences.
