Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, and store operations. You will lead the store team during the Store Manager’s absence, oversee staffing and training, and drive exemplary customer interactions across retail and professional customers.

Responsibilities include supervising service programs, hiring and coaching staff, processing orders and returns, and ensuring accurate invoicing and security procedures are followed

Qualifications

• Must have Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Spanish language skills are highly desired and beneficial in a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and execute customer service programs.
• Assist the store manager with staffing, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Assist in the hiring process including interviews and candidate evaluation.
• Ensure timely processing of buy online/ship to store, hub, and inter-store transfers.
• Oversee returns, exchanges, refunds and proper invoicing before products leave the store.
• Communicate ZIPLINE messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Perform opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, and secure deposits and building.
