Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. You will lead the store team during absences or opposing shifts, drive performance, and ensure excellent service to both retail and professional customers.

Eligible candidates should have Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification; multilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Spanish language skills are highly desired for this role.
• Experience in retail or store leadership is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Oversee customer service levels at the retail showroom and ensure staff execute on service programs.
• Help manage staffing during peak hours and coordinate training for team members.
• Assist in hiring by conducting interviews and coordinating with management on candidate selection.
• Ensure accurate processing of orders, transfers, and returns.
• Maintain store opening/closing duties and secure cash handling per policy.
• Delegate merchandising tasks and communicate Zipline messages to the team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and schedule adherence.
