Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. You will lead the store team in servicing customers and manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply; you will assist in hiring, coaching, and ensuring staffing during peak hours, while delivering excellent service and maintaining policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and implement service programs.
• Assist the store manager in staffing during peak hours and coaching team members.
• Assist in hiring by recruiting, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates.
• Ensure all orders, transfers, and returns are processed promptly and accurately.
• Oversee opening/closing duties, money handling, and security procedures.
