Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking an Assistant Manager in Las Vegas to support the Store Manager in daily operations and lead the team to deliver exceptional customer service. You will help train staff, enforce company policies, and drive sales while maintaining store standards.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring safety, overseeing merchandising, and managing POS procedures, inventory, and scheduling. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Background check approved is required.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) are essential.
• Experience in managerial and organizational tasks is expected.
• Solid visual merchandising and understanding of store presentation standards.
• Working knowledge of footwear and related products helps.
• Ability to perform basic math for everyday operations.
• Knowledge of corporate and store policies and procedures is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of employees and customers.
• Lead, train and develop store staff under Store Manager guidance.
• Oversee POS transactions, discounts, refunds and loyalty procedures.
• Manage inventory including receiving, pricing and markdowns.
• Maintain merchandising standards and store cleanliness.
• Oversee payroll-related tasks: scheduling and attendance.
• Support loss prevention initiatives and asset protection.
• Support day-to-day operations and respond to issues promptly.
