Rack Room Shoes seeks an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in all day-to-day operations, ensure policy compliance, and deliver excellent customer service. You will lead, train and guide staff, stepping in for the Store Manager when needed to keep the store running smoothly.

Responsibilities include supervising POS transactions, inventory control, merchandising, scheduling and payroll, plus loss prevention.

• Strong interpersonal skills for customer and staff interactions.
• Working knowledge of store operations and policies.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Store Manager in day-to-day operations and ensure policy compliance.
• Create, establish and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience.
• Provide service training and leadership to staff.
• Oversee POS transactions, sales, discounts and refunds.
• Manage inventory, price changes, and physical inventory.
• Maintain merchandising standards and store presentation.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll budgeting and time/attendance.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection.
• Develop staff through training and adherence to standards.
