Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will lead the store team and manage the store during the Manager's absence or opposing shifts.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. The position offers opportunities to mentor staff, participate in hiring, and ensure merchandise and customer service programs are executed to drive daily store performance.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service.
• Supervise showroom customer service levels and programs.
• Ensure staffing during peak hours at the sales counter.
• Coach and mentor team members and support goal attainment.
• Assist in hiring tasks and participate in interviews.
• Ensure phone calls are answered per policy.
• Oversee buy online/ship to store and transfers.
• Ensure returns, refunds, and invoicing are processed correctly.
• Perform opening/closing duties and secure the store.
• Maintain store appearance and equipment.
