O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, service, and store operations. The role requires leading the team, staffing during peak hours, and mentoring associates to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Responsibilities include coaching, hiring support, and ensuring smooth execution of store processes while maintaining high standards of service for retail and professional customers. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification are required.
• Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification are desirable.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and execute service programs.
• Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed, especially during peak hours.
• Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback, coaching and training.
• Assist in recruiting tasks, scheduling and interviewing to hire qualified team members.
• Make sure telephone is answered according to policy.
• Ensure transfers, ship-to-store orders, and add orders are processed timely and customers informed.
• Oversee returns, refunds and invoicing; ensure merchandise is correctly processed.
• Perform opening/closing duties, secure money, deposits and building after hours.
