Job summary

Deckers Brands, home of HOKA, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in San Jose to partner with the Store Manager on driving sales, customer experience, and brand initiatives. You will oversee daily operations, training, scheduling, and loss prevention while leading a team to deliver exceptional service and store performance.

You will contribute to creating an inviting customer journey, executing visual standards, and supporting local events to grow the HOKA community in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• Two to four years minimum retail store management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey brand vision to team and customers.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate resources to meet goals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work through challenges.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive and own key store goals including sales, conversion, NPS, and customer capture.
• Set targets and motivate team members to achieve goals within each shift.
• Ensure operational excellence in all aspects of the business and prioritize customer journey programs.
• Lead recruiting, hiring, and training of team members for brand awareness and service.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including training, merchandising, scheduling, labor planning, inventory, and cash controls.
• Serve as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager’s absence.
