Job summary

Deckers Brands' HOKA brand is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in driving sales, customer experience, and brand education. You will lead by example, train staff, and ensure daily store operations run smoothly.

This role requires 2–4 years of retail store leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage schedules, visual merchandising, and store controls. You will champion the HOKA customer journey and help grow the local brand presence.

Qualifications

• Two to four years minimum retail store management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey the HOKA and Deckers Brands Vision and Mission to your team and customers.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate people, resources, and services in order to address business goals and needs.
• Fantastic problem-solving skills and ability to work through challenges.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive and own key store goals including sales, conversion, NPS, and customer capture.
• Set targets and motivate team members to achieve goals within each shift.
• Ensure operational excellence in all aspects of the business and prioritize programs that enhance the customer journey.
• Take responsibility for day-to-day operations of the store, including training, visual merchandising, opening and closing the store, securing assets, planning labor, and managing inventory and cash controls.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training of team members who drive Brand awareness and education while providing excellent service.
• Maintain and model an optimistic and energetic attitude and invite all customers into the HOKA community through exceptional service.
