Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. The role will manage the store during the Store Manager's absence and when working opposing shifts, leading the team to service customers effectively.

Responsibilities include coaching team members, assisting in hiring, ensuring peak-hour staffing, and coordinating with management to meet service standards.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team to provide excellent customer service.
• Supervise the customer service levels in the showroom and implement service programs.
• Ensure staffing during peak hours and assign roles for efficiency.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting qualified team members.
• Manage opening/closing duties and secure deposits according to policy.
