Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager responsible for supporting the Store Manager by overseeing sales, customer service, and store operations. Your leadership will guide the store team in delivering exceptional service to both retail and professional customers.

This position requires you to manage store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, assist in recruiting qualified team members, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Must have Sales Specialist Training.
• Earn Assistant Manager Certification.
• Obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in customer service.
• Supervise retail showroom customer service.
• Work with manager to staff retail sales counter.
• Assist in setting team member goals.
• Help with hiring tasks and interviewing.
• Ensure telephone is answered per policy.
• Process online orders and transfers timely.
• Handle customer returns and exchanges efficiently.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced correctly.
• Communicate Zipline messages.
• Perform store opening and closing duties.
• Assist in maintaining store building.
• Complete other assigned duties.
