Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading sales, customer service, and store operations. This role oversees the store during the Manager’s absence and on opposing shifts, guiding the team to deliver exceptional service to both retail and professional customers.

Responsibilities include hiring support, coaching team members, ensuring policy adherence, and coordinating with management to optimize staffing and performance.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure staffing during peak hours.
• Assist the store manager in hiring by completing recruiting tasks and conducting interviews.
• Manage day-to-day store operations during the Store Manager’s absence and opposing shifts.
• Ensure all merchandise is invoiced before product leaves the store and returns are processed efficiently.
