Total Wine & More in Maryland seeks an Assistant Store Manager who will grow the brand by delivering best-in-class service and building a rigorous sales culture. You will lead a team, manage operations, and ensure compliance with alcohol regulations to protect customers and the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in business administration or related field.
• 1–3 years retail supervisory experience; 2+ years in a managerial role.
• Experience leading, motivating and developing a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and meet key performance metrics.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team; develop product knowledge and sales skills.
• Support day-to-day operations including payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and lead by example; resolve customer issues.
• Maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol sale laws and maintain a safe store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
