Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to grow the brand through best-in-class service and a distinctive beverage experience. You will support store operations, drive sales, and lead a team to enhance product knowledge and service quality.

You will be referred to as Assistant Manager and report to the Store Manager. The role requires leadership, a flexible schedule, and adherence to alcohol regulations, with a pathway to total rewards and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of work experience in retail management.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and achieve key performance metrics (KPMs).
• Recruit, train, and develop store team.
• Oversee payroll, inventory, and merchandising.
• Maintain vendor relationships and comply with alcohol laws.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues.
