Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to grow the brand by delivering best-in-class service and building a sales-focused culture. You will oversee operations, develop a team, and ensure a welcoming store environment while maintaining compliance with alcohol regulations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a supervisory retail role, experience leading teams, and familiarity with POS and inventory software; a business degree is preferred or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of work experience; 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory retail role.
• Experience leading, motivating and developing a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and key performance metrics.
• Recruit, train, and lead store team; develop product knowledge and sales skills.
• Support operations: payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues.
• Maintain vendor relationships and ensure legal compliance for alcohol sales.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
