Family Dollar in High Point, NC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. The role involves overseeing daily store functions, guiding associates, and delivering a positive shopping experience.

You will manage merchandise flow from delivery to shelves, assist with opening/closing, enforce safety and policies, maintain displays, and contribute to loss prevention, payroll, scheduling, and other duties as assigned.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and related communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, restocked bathrooms, swept and mopped floors, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
