Family Dollar Stores Of North Carolina LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee store operations, deliver friendly customer service, and develop store team members in Charlotte, NC.

You will assist with daily functions, merchandise flow from delivery to floor, opening/closing procedures, and loss prevention while maintaining a clean, organized store aligned with company standards. This role requires strong communication and leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives is required
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as described
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner
• Help organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Maintain storefront fixtures and displays
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention
• Supervise and develop store associates
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, organized store to company standards
