Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of North Carolina LLC in Sanford, NC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development.

You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and participate in opening and closing procedures while leading and training Store Associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in merchandise organization and stockroom to sales floor transfers.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Train and develop Store Associates; supervise and lead staff.
