Job summary

FirstCash in Sparks, NV is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist with daily store operations, coach associates, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will partner with the Store Manager to lead the team, drive profitability, and manage inventory and cash procedures in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with HS diploma or GED.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable with a variety of merchandise; firearms in FFL locations (certification provided).

Responsibilities

• Assist daily store operations and act as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Coach and develop team members to meet standards.
• Participate in recruiting, hiring and retaining top talent.
• Help drive sales, profitability and performance goals.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support asset protection.
• Open/close the store, manage cash handling and procedures.
• Monitor loan and buying transactions for compliance and accuracy.
• Maintain merchandising and store presentation standards.
• Analyze performance metrics and support business objectives.
• Build product knowledge across merchandise categories.
