Job summary

UDF-MyScoop Branding is hiring an Assistant Manager in Columbus, OH to ensure outstanding Guest service by following the five Hi Five phases on shift. You will lead associates, manage daily store operations, and uphold safety and policy compliance.

The role requires capacity to supervise staff, handle POS and gas transactions, and maintain clean, welcoming store conditions. Full-time schedule with 37–40 hours per week and multi-shift availability.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to stand, see and operate store equipment including POS terminal and gas console.
• Ability to lift and move items up to plus/minus 21 pounds and tolerate freezer temperatures as low as –30°F for short periods.

Responsibilities

• Managing other Associates: assign duties, coach The Hi Five Guest Experience, and train Shift Leaders and Guest Services Associates.
• Store Administration: ordering, weekly delivery reports, product transfers and related paperwork.
• Overall Guest Services: provide the Hi Five Guest Experience and greet Guests warmly, ensuring their satisfaction.
• DipSide Guest Services: prepare shakes, ice cream, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed containers.
• Operate POS system and Gas Console accurately, including handling transactions and payments.
• Stocking Merchandise: keep shelves, displays, and freezers filled and clean; rotate stock.
• Security: monitor guests, manage cash drops, and follow tobacco/alcohol controls.
• Maintenance: keep store and parking lot clean and safe; monitor equipment temperatures.
• Reporting: complete time records and customer documentation.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
