Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment, including POS terminal and gas console.
• Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment.
• Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies located in the dip cabinets.
• Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions and coupons.
• Ability to count and perform basic arithmetic for records.
• Ability to move merchandise to display areas.
• Ability to tolerate extreme temperatures as part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Manage other associates, assign duties, coach the Hi Five Guest Experience, and participate in interviews.
• Handle store administration tasks like ordering, deliveries, and paperwork as directed.
• Provide the Hi Five Guest Experience, greet guests warmly, and ensure store is ready for customers.
• Prepare DipSide items and manage ice cream/yogurt servings and related items.
• Operate POS system and gas console, process transactions, and handle cash and cards.
• Stock shelves, keep dairy and coffee areas filled, rotate stock and check dates.
• Maintain store security and perform drop procedures for cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper temperatures of equipment and displays.
• Complete time records and required documentation accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
