Busser Jobs in Columbus OH

We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Restaurant Bussers. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organized dining environment, assisting servers, and ensuring a smooth flow of service for our guests.

Responsibilities:

Clear and reset tables promptly, removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils.

Assist in maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the dining area, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down tables and chairs.

Replenish table supplies, such as napkins, condiments, and utensils, as needed.

Support servers by assisting with water refills, bread service, and delivering food orders to tables.

Collaborate with the server team to ensure efficient communication and coordination during service.

Assist in the breakdown and cleaning of tables at the end of meal service.

Empty and maintain cleanliness of trash receptacles and bus stations.

Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or service.

Communicate any customer feedback or concerns to the appropriate staff members.

Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the restaurant.

Adhere to safety and sanitation standards, following proper food handling procedures.

Work as a team player, providing support and assistance to colleagues as needed.

Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and lift/ move bus tubs or trays.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per restaurant schedules.

Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

Prior experience as a busser or in a similar role is preferred.

Understanding and commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment.

Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and service procedures.
