Job summary

UDF-MyScoop Branding in Columbus, OH seeks an Assistant Manager for a full-time schedule (37–40 hours/wk) with 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift. The role requires ensuring outstanding service by following The Hi Five Guest Experience and supervising associates on duty while complying with laws and company policies.

Responsibilities include store administration, guest services, dipside preparation, POS and gas sales, stocking, security, maintenance and reporting.

Qualifications

• Managing other Associates: assign/monitor duties, coach The Hi Five Guest Experience, and train Shift Leaders and Guest Services Associates.
• Input to Store Manager for counseling/discipline of associates and conducting screening interviews with applicants.
• Store Administration: ordering, review of weekly delivery reports, transfer of products, and completing paperwork as directed.

Responsibilities

• Overall Guest Services: provide the Hi Five Guest Experience; greet Guests and ensure their needs are anticipated and met.
• DipSide Guest Services: preparation of shakes, cups/cones, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed containers.
• Efficient Operation of POS System and Gas Console: handling transactions, payments, and related duties.
• Stocking Merchandise: keep shelves, displays, and coolers stocked and presentable.
• Security: monitor store activity and follow cash handling and safety procedures.
• Maintenance: keep store and parking lot clean and equipment temperatures monitored.
• Reporting: accurate completion of time records and required documents.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
