ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support day-to-day store operations, schedules, and performance. You will help develop action plans, train staff, and ensure excellent customer service. This role requires leadership, strong communication, and a focus on operational excellence.

The position is full-time with an average of 38 hours per week, starting wage of $26.50 per hour, and a $1/hour raise in year two. Eligible benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to manage budgets and expenses
• Cash handling and store operations knowledge

Responsibilities

• Assist direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve store results
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
• Identify training opportunities for direct reports
• Model company values and maintain teamwork
• Monitor local competition and adjust accordingly
• Provide product feedback and participate in interviews for store staff
• Ensure inventory procedures, cash control, and product signage are accurate
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper signage
• Assist with stock levels and merchandising to maximize sales
• Supervise daily team operations and escalate issues as needed
