Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support day-to-day store operations, supervise staff, and develop operational action plans. This role involves coordinating schedules, improving performance metrics, and identifying training opportunities to grow the team.

The position is full-time with an average of 38 hours per week. Starting wage is $27.00 per hour, with a wage increase to $28.00 after Year 2, and full-time benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities for direct reports to improve performance.
• Model ALDI core values and maintain teamwork.
• Supervise daily store operations and ensure customer service excellence.
• Assist with inventory, cash control, and loss prevention measures.
• Participate in interviews for store personnel.
• Ensure store signage, cleanliness, and safe working conditions.
