Job summary

Aesop in Newport Beach is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the store manager in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving commercial growth. You will help lead a high-performing team, spend significant time on the shop floor, and collaborate with Marketing and Visual Merchandising to execute initiatives.

The role requires 2+ years of supervisory experience in retail or hospitality, strong selling and coaching skills, and a passion for Aesop's values.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in supervising a customer- and sales-focused retail or hospitality team.
• Strong commercial acumen to meet sales targets and KPIs.
• Proven ability to coach and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive performance and growth by collaborating with the Store Manager to set SMART quarterly goals.
• Lead customer experience through training, feedback, and coaching of the team.
• Select, onboard and develop talent, including RC induction and probation.
• Supervise operations to ensure efficient store functions and standards.
• Provide regular performance reviews and development planning with the team.
• Spend the majority of time on the shop floor coaching staff and serving customers.
