Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will lead the store team during shifts and absences, ensuring top service levels for retail and professional customers.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. The position involves hiring tasks, coaching, and ensuring all stock, returns, and orders are processed efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training required.
• Assistant Manager Certification required.
• RSS Certification required.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the showroom and ensure program execution.
• Ensure staffing during peak hours and assist with hiring and interviews.
• Coach and mentor team members and ensure training is up to date.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub, and transfers timely and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and invoicing before product leaves the store.
• Manage opening/closing duties, money handling, and security procedures.
• Maintain store building, signage, lighting, and delivery vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
