Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. The role requires leading the team during the Manager’s absence and opposing shifts, with emphasis on servicing customers and maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training and certifications needed for supervisory roles.
• 2+ relevant certifications help qualify for responsibilities.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the showroom and ensure staff coverage during peak hours.
• Assist store manager with recruiting, interviewing, and selecting qualified team members.
• Ensure phone inquiries follow company policy and process buy online/ship to store orders and transfers.
• Coordinate with management to ensure timely processing and accurate invoicing of merchandise.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure compliance with work schedule, clocking in/out, and security procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties including day end procedures and securing deposits.
