Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. You will lead the store team during shifts and be prepared to run the store in the manager's absence.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom and drive programs like Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot.
• Assist the store manager in staffing, coaching, and ensuring team members are up-to-date on training.
• Assist in recruiting tasks, interviewing, and selecting qualified team members.
• Ensure phone inquiries are answered per company policy and process all transfers and orders efficiently.
• Ensure returns, exchanges, invoicing, and price/merchandising tasks are completed accurately and on time.
