Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and daily operations. This role will lead the team during the Store Manager’s absence or opposing shifts and guide staff to provide exceptional service to both retail and professional customers.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, with duties including hiring assistance, coaching, and ensuring timely processing of orders, returns, and transfers.

Qualifications

• Must have current Sales Specialist Training and Assistant Manager Certification.
• RSS Certification required or preferred for advancement.
• Bilingual ability is a plus and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members to deliver excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure adherence to service programs.
• Assist the store manager with staffing, coaching, and goal setting during shifts.
• Participate in interviewing, recruiting, and hiring decisions with management.
• Ensure proper processing of returns, exchanges, and invoicing before product leaves the store.
