Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead daily shop operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will oversee technicians, coordinate tasks, and stand in for the Shop Manager when needed in a fast-paced automotive setting.

You will train and develop the team, model professional conduct, manage inventory, and handle opening/closing duties. Prior supervisory experience in retail or service is helpful; reliable transportation and shop-floor capability

Qualifications

• Able to lead a fast-paced shop team and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Experience in retail or service leadership is a plus.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Willing to train others and develop subordinates.
• Reliable transportation and ability to perform in a vehicle service environment.

Responsibilities

• Check in with customers to ensure they had a great experience.
• Assume responsibility and authority in the Shop Manager's absence.
• Run the floor and supervise technicians, ensuring proper service and customer satisfaction.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with counting and adjusting inventory.
• Train and develop subordinates and be a role model for the team.
• Perform technician duties including oil changes and related services.
• Process payments for services performed.
• Maintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness.
