Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is looking for an Assistant Shop Manager who is career-minded and enjoys working with people. You will help lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor, supporting the Shop Manager with daily operations, training, and a superior customer experience.

You’ll step in as Manager on Duty as needed, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high-quality service while maintaining company procedures and standards. Training is provided to develop technical skills and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety control policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills and comfort providing direction, coaching, and feedback to team members.
• Ability to meet applicable age and certification requirements, including Inspector Certification when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and customer experience.
• Step in as Manager on Duty when needed, coordinating workflow and ensuring safety and quality.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and assist with inventory counts.
