Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, coaching, and delivering a friendly, efficient customer experience while ensuring safety and quality standards.

This role offers hands-on training, opportunities for advancement, and the chance to grow from shop duties into leadership positions through consistent performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety control policies and practices.
• Reliable transportation to and from your work location.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shop Manager with daily operations and customer experience.
• Step in as Manager on Duty when needed, helping the team stay focused while keeping the shop safe, efficient, and running smoothly.
• Train new team members, provide real-time coaching and feedback, reinforce expectations, and recognize strong performance.
• Perform all Certified Technician and Lead Technician responsibilities.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and adjustments.
