Driven Brands, Inc. seeks an Assistant Shop Manager for a fast-paced Virginia shop. You will assist the Shop Manager with daily operations, coach team members, and ensure a safe, efficient customer experience on the shop floor.

The role includes acting as Manager on Duty, training staff, and maintaining service standards. You bring at least 6 months of customer service and leadership experience, stay solution-focused during peak times, and communicate clearly with the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety control policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coach and provide feedback.
• Ability to stay calm, organized, and solutions-focused during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed by coordinating workflow and helping the team deliver safe, efficient, high-quality service.
• Model fast, friendly customer service, respond to customer needs, and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure services are completed accurately and consistently while reinforcing procedures, safety, and service standards.
• Support shop performance by identifying opportunities for improvement and taking on additional leadership responsibilities when the Shop Manager is unavailable.
• Train new team members, provide real-time coaching and feedback, reinforce expectations, and recognize strong performance.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and adjustments.
• Support shop communication, reporting, and operational follow-up.
