Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead a fast‑paced team on the shop floor. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and fast, friendly customer experience. Training is provided and automotive experience is valued but not required.

In this hands-on role, you’ll step in as Manager on Duty when needed, ensure safety and quality, and help drive performance with coaching and feedback for front‑line staff.

Qualifications

• 6+ months customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• 6+ months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Ability to meet age and certification requirements, including Inspector Certification when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead on daily shop operations and staff development.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed and coordinate workflow.
• Ensure safe, efficient, high‑quality service and adherence to standards.
• Coach and train new team members with real‑time feedback.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and inventory checks.
• Support shop communications, reporting, and follow‑ups.
• Collaborate with Shop Manager to identify improvement opportunities.
